We have compiled a list of all possible Extra costs you may have
CHOICE MENUS
Our sample menus have been designed to cover 1 item per course.
Vegetarian options and any dietary requirements will be catered for individually.
On request, we can provide bespoke menus with the choice of 2 items per course (plus any dietary option), but there is extra cost involved:
Flat fee for choice menu: £500 (for over 50 guests); £250 (for under 50 guests)
To cover: Extra staff / Table plan management admin and Logistics
Also, Kitchen Create cost may increase if your venue lacks catering facilities necessary to produce multiple dishes at one time.
Tablecloths
The decision on hiring tablecloths will depend on your room layout and tables provided by the venue. Round tables will typically need a long drop tablecloth. If you decide to have long tables, you can opt for a more rustic style, with no tablecloths (perhaps with runners instead) if your chosen venue offers nice wooden tables. As we do not provide linen, these would need to be provided by yourself or one of our suggested suppliers.
Please note: It’s important that tablecloths arrive suitably ironed.
Glasses
Glasses are normally provided by your bar supplier or by yourself if you don’t have one.

We like to be organised and are happy to help with the basic table set up; finished preferably the day before the wedding day.

Extra Décor Cost
This comes down to personal preference.
Our clients are often happy with the basic tableware we offer. However, depending on your budget and design goals you might want to go that extra step.
Make Believe Events
Established in 2009, Make Believe Events offers an extensive range of hire items perfectly suited to make your event a success – this includes chair covers & linen, lighting, furniture, and centrepieces & floristry. Combine this with our free design consultation where we can talk though your ideas and give you some expert advice – your event is sure to be spectacular!

Bar Staff
Season Catering charges a staff allocation cost to serve your drinks at Vat inclusive rate of £18 per hour per staff member.
This would include time required for set up, service itself as we as clear up.
Please note, this service is not applicable for venues with their own beverage supplier, unless you opted out from using them.
Kitchen Equipment / Creation
If your chosen venue lacks catering facilities, we will need to create a kitchen with:
Ovens, gas burners and gas, fryers, plate warmers, heat gantry lights, benches, fridges, freezer, plate stacks, electrics, and non-slip mats.
Estimated cost: £600 for 100 people
This includes items mentioned (and more) as well as delivery, clean up and pick up. The total may go up, depending on the menu and size of event.
Recycling Cost
If the venue does not have Recycling facilities onsite, we can organise the waste pick up via local council or Bin Skip company.

Dry Ice
Using Dry Ice is great way to bring your presentation to the next level –

Depending on guest numbers.
Tavel cost
For venues located more than 50 miles away from our base in Edinburgh, we may add travel cost: to cover vehicles and staff.
Overnight stay costs may also apply. Please ask our team for details.
Marquee
If you are planning a wedding in a Marquee and would like us to create a kitchen at your location, there are few more things to consider. As well as kitchen equipment (that we can take care of), we would require a marquee with safe flooring, power generator and mains water supply.
